There are a couple of guidelines for submission to this site:

1. Bent County was established as Greenwood County in 1870, it was renamed Bent in 1874. Over the years Bent County was divided into several different counties. The "Date to Bent County" should be the date that the person moved into the area that is now Bent County; for help on boundaries go to http://www.usgwarchives.org/co/bent.htm

2. Please submit only the oldest of a family that immigrated.
Information contained in these pages remains the sole property of the submitter. It is always best to check the validity of submitted information with your own research.

The US Migrations Project is a not-for-profit project.
