Addie Mick Wilson # 41242878 is buried in Decatur, Alabama "Mrs. Thomas A. Wilson, 52, widely known local woman, died at 5 a.m. today at Benevolent Society Hospital from a head injury received in a fall in the basement at her home, 717 Ferry Street, Monday. Funeral arrangements will be announced by McAfee and Young. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband; a son, Henry Wilson; two daughters, Mrs. Harris Mitchell, of Minnesota and Miss Virginia Wilson. Mrs. Wilson went to the basement about 10:30 Monday morning. She stumbled over a box, fell backward and struck her head against the floor, the blow knocking her insensible. She remained in a semi-conscious condition all day, but knew enough to move about and try to regain her feet. A friend, Mrs. M.C. Bonney, went to call on Mrs. Wilson Monday afternoon but no one came to the door. She went around to the rear of the house and heard a noise in the basement. She investigated and found Mrs. Wilson lying on the floor. The injured woman was taken to hospital and regained consciousness but failed to respond to treatment.
