He registered for WWI in Yuma County, with a Kirk address, born May 31, 1886.

In 1920 Yuma County, Colorado, David is 33, born in Kansas, Louisa E. 32 born in Missouri. Lola is 12 born in Kansas, Ronald 5 in Colorado.

1929 "Lola Pound, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.H. Pound of the Joes country, went to Greeley, Monday to enroll as a student at the State Teachers College."

1943 "A large crowd attended the Dave Pound sale January 20. Cows brought from #86 to $105. Horses did not sell so high. We understand Mr. and Mrs. Pound intend moving to Denver. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Pound will move to the Dave Pound farm."

December 1950 "Miss Mable 'Sue' Collette, younges daught of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Collette of Kirk, and William Henry Ketchre Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ketcher of Vona, were married Deemer 15 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Wise. Miss Marilyn Kechter, sister of the bridegrroom, was bridesmaid.

Virl (Moore) Pound 1897-1988 is buried in Denver # 351607008, with Albert L. 1894-1940.


Guy Everett Pound 1891-1951 is buried in Stafford County, Kansas, and his son Walter Lee Pound 1928-1931 is buried in Kirk.

Ralph is buried in Stafford County # 76628103 "Ralph Gerald Pound died Dec 2, 2009 at Stafford County Hospital in Stafford. Born Sep 7, 1931 in Craig, CO, he was the son of Everett Guy Steven and Jessie Mae (Winkler)?Pound. He attended Antrim Schools and moved from?Stafford to St. John in 1969. He was a retired grain elevator manager in St. John previously working at Stafford CO-OP and a member of the St. John Lions Club and Kansas Livestock Assn. On May 19, 1950, he married Elsie (Allen) at Stafford. She preceded him in death on Nov 19, 2005. Survivors include son, Donnie L Pound and wife Debra of St. John, daughter Maggie A. Metz and husband Terry of Garrison, ND, brother Richard Pound of Waikoloa Hawaii, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers: Paul, Cecil, Glenn and Donald; two sisters, Lois Gay and Ruby Pound; grandson Nicholas Pound and a great grandson, Jordan Nicholas Goldade.  "
