Pius J. Campbell 1866-1956 and Mary Ann MacInnis 1873-1932 his wife are buried in Saint Columba Catholic Cemetery.

IN MEMORIAM: A gloom was cast over the parish of St. Columba on Thursday, August 25th, when it became known that Mary Ann, beloved wife of Pius J. Campbell, had passed to her eternal reward.

She was a daughter of the late Patrick McInnis, blacksmith, and Mary McPhee of Lakeville, and leaves to mourn besides her sorrowing husband one daughter Philomena, R. N., of Quincy, Mass., and five sons Charles, Pius and Bernard at home, Joseph and Leo, of Portland, Oregon, also two brothers James A., of Lakeville and John J., of Grand River, two sisters Mrs. Joseph Kennedy, of Quincy, Mass., and Nellie, of Portland, Oregon who have the sympathy of the whole community in their sad bereavement.
Her funeral to St. Columba on Saturday, August 27th, was one of the largest ever seen in the parish, people coming from far and near to pay a last tribute of respect to one whom they all loved and admired.
The pall bearers were: Daniel J. Campbell, Ernest McPhee, Freeman Garrett, A. F. Campbell, Columba McDonald and Stephen J. McAulay. "
Pius James Campbell died March 16, 1956, age 92.
