Charly William Drir, 10 North 49 West

The lettering on the land patent could be "Driv", but all the land records and the naturalization show "Drir."

Charly cash-claimed a tract in section 12, 10N 49W in 1887.

Charly was naturalized in Logan County District Court on June 5, 1889, an immigrant from Germany.
His witnesses were H.D. Ayres and William H. Gleason.

Then in 1890 Charly proved up a quarter in 34, 11N 48W, about five miles away.

Because a name change is offered as part of the naturalization process, it is possible that Charly stayed in Logan County.
