In 1880 Washington County, Iowa, Stephen R. Field is a fire insurance agent, 38, born in Massachusetts, with Annie 35, James R. 15, Ida 13, Cora 10, Harry O. 8, and Bessie 3.
Anna Steadman is in Portland, Oregon in 1900, born March 1850 in Nova Scotia, with William Steadman 68. His son Thomas B. is 27, born in Iowa, and her son Charles Field May 1882 in Iowa are with them.

"Mrs. Anna Steadman, 66 years old, formerly a state organizer of the United Artisans, and a prominent resident of the suburb of Sellwood, died at her home, 586 Crampton street, Sellwood. She had been a resident of Portland for nearly 30 years, was a member of Blackmar Circle of the ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic, United Artisans and the Rebekah Lodge.
A few years ago Mrs. Steadman was state organizer of the order of United Artisans, and visited many portions of the state. She is survived by three children, Mrs. T. R. Baldwin, Harry O. Field and Mrs. Bessie Rehberg. The funeral will be held today from the Sellwood Methodist Church. of which she was a member, and the interment will be made in Milwaukie Cemetery. Blackmar Circle and the members of Rebekah Lodge will take part in the funeral. "
Charles S. Field was born October 5, 1883 in Iowa, and one tree said he died in 1909.

September 22, 1894 Boulder "This morning a little girl was born to Mrs. J. F. Lyman, wife of the proprietor of the Tally-Ho stables. Mr. Lyman says he will call her Sweet Lavender if the play is worthy the honor as he was at the depot looking after the Lyceum company, when word of the little one's arrival was received by him."
