August 1897 "Harper, Kas August 16.— A. H. Brown, who owns a confectionery store in the Merrick block, next to the largest building here, reported to the police that he had found a dynamite bomb with a half charred fuse at the rear door of his store, and directly under the joint run by Charles Homes. No clew of its owner been found but it is said to be the work of the 'Joint' crusaders, who have been active of late, and who worked considerable opposition.

In 1910 Cascade County, Montana, Chas. "Holmes" is a railroad worker, 39, born iNColorado, with Ovidea 22 born in Norway.
They're in Pensacola, Florida in 1920, Charles 49 born in Nebraska, Ovidia in Norway, Violet 10 and Hazel F. 8, both born in Montana.
Hazel F. (Holmes) Lash 1911-1993 is buried in Saginaw, Michigan # 64486663, with Robert T. Lash 1909-1989.
