HENRY J. MYERS

In October 1891 Boulder jury selection "The happy twelve who were thus drawn are:...H.J. Myers..."

December 1896 Boulder Colorado

This one is HENRY
"Mr. Henry J. Myers took a large swallow of carbolic acid early Christmas morning and died after suffering untold torture, a few minutes later. Mr. Myers was father of Henry Myers, proprietor of the billiard hall and bowling alley and was an industrious citizen, though nearly 70 years of age and a cripple and sufferer for years. It appears that he reached for a bottle containing whiskey and rock candy and, as the room was quite dark drank from the wrong bottle. Deceased was a temperate man and kept the liquor simply for medical purposes. Discovering his mistake he informed his family, but medical aid, hastily summoned, arrived too late. He had died in the meantime. The family is a large one and its members are griefstricken over the terrible casualty."
