BATTLE, SUSAN-- b. 1843 d. 1895 (11 JUN 1896) – BATTLE – At her home north-east of Geneva, Thursday morning, June 11, 1896, Mrs. Susan Battle, aged 64 years. Mrs. Battle was an old resident of the county. Mrs. V. L. Arenschield and Mrs. Gus Aldrup are her surviving daughters. The funeral took place from the Episcopal Church Friday afternoon, June 12, at 3 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. W. H. Ayers of Dewitt. The interment was in the Geneva cemetery.
