Padroni items, September 19, 1912 "Calvin Brown and Miss Perdue were married at Sidney, Sunday, Sept. 8th. We extend congratulations."
"Mr. Calvin Brown and Miss Gertrude Perdue, both of Padroni, were married at the Lutheran parsonage at Sidney, Nebraska, last Sunday by the Rev. W. G. Burg. Mr. Brown has lived at Padronl for the past several years. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brown of Seneca, Kansas. Miss Perdue is the daughter of Mrs. Minnie Fitzpatrick, and is well known in Sterling, having lived here practically all of her life. Mr. Brown has a place near Padroni and has been engaged during the past summer cutting grain for farmers on contract in that neighborhood. The newly married couple have not decided yet where they will make their home but will probably live on the place near Padroni. Both have hosts of friends in Logan county who wish them a pleasant journey through life."
