July 28, 1915 Decatur, Illinois "George Lawson, formerly of Decatur, died Tuesday noon in the Illinois state hospital at Jacksonville, according to messages sent to relatives in Decatur. Mr. Lawson was 60 years old. He was born in Harrisburg, Ky., where he lived until about a year ago when he removed to Decatur to make his home and has been in ill health for some time.
He leaves two sisters, Miss Martha Lawson, Harrisburg, Ky., and Mrs. Mary Wolford, Weatherford, Texas, and two nephews, Ernest Matherley and Ray Matherley, both of Decatur. Louis Moran went to Jacksonville Tuesday evening and returned to Decatur with the body early this morning. It was removed to the Moran undertaking establishment and funeral services will be conducted in the Moran chapel, but the time his not yet been set.
