"Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today (June 15, 1962, Friday) at the Wickenburg Chapel for ELWYN WITHERS of Wickenburg, who passed away early Tuesday morning in Community Hospital. The services will be conducted by Rev. Robert Jenkins of the first Baptist Church and burial will follow in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mr. Withers was born in Canon City, Colo., June 6, 1902. He spent many years as a woodsman in the Oregon forests and for six years before moving to Wickenburg last August he was in charge of the sawmill for the Roseburg Lumber Co., in Roseburg, Ore. Surviving are the widow, Violet; a daughter Marilyn and son Larry, both at home, and two married daughters, Mrs. Betty Jo Cornell of Yoncalla, Ore., and Mrs. Shirley Garrison of Eureka, Calif. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Frances Northey of Albany, Ore., and a brother Charles Lester of Eureka, Calif."

Susan was born here May 21, 1952. Surviving besides her. parents are, one sister, Barbara Ann Northey and grandparents, Mrs. Ethel Pelfrey of Lebanon and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Northey of Albany. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Huston funeral home, in Lebanon with Rev. Carl Mason, pastor of the First Methodist church here officiating. Interment will be in the Lebanon Odd Fellows cemetery.

Viewing will be until S tonight at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen Funeral Chapel, 1350 Commercial St. S.E., in Salem. Memorials can be made to a fund in his name and left at the First Baptist Church where he was a member, deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was born April 4, 1916, in Padroni, Colo., and lived in Albany for 17 years before moving to Salem in 1960. Northey had worked in home construction.
