July 13, 1900 Sterling "George Pedroni returned from Omaha at noon to-day. Thos. Pedroni and Thos. Gincamini returned home from the same point Friday last. An uncle of the Pedroni boys died in Omaha the 19th of June and they went there to attend the funeral. George reports the weather in Omaha as simply awful so intense is the heat, especially at night."
In the fall of 1905, A. E. Buchanan, H. H. White, W. B. Giacomini, Thomas Pedroni, G. W. McLain, W. S. Jenkins, and S. E. Naugle surveyed a line to determine whether or not the Ten Men System could be extended to Point of Rocks on Cedar Creek. The plan was found entirely feasible and filings for water were made in the name of H. H. White and Geo. W. McLain to date from November 9, 1905.

ANDREW
In 1900 Logan County, Thomas Pedroni immigrating in 1885, born 1860, Thomas Gialomini his nephew born 1870 immigrating in 1893, and brother Andrew Pedroni born Feb 1870, immigrating in 1893 are farming.
Andrea Pedroni was naturalized in the County Court in Sterling on April 8, 1905, witnesses Frank Giacomini and Ben Scarmantini, all of Sterling.
In 1917 Andrew owned a quarter in section 12, 8N 53W.
Tom, 60, and Andrew Padroni 45 are farming in Logan County in 1920.
Thomas is living in Durango in 1930, 70, living with Andrew Pedroni 60 and John Faladone 51, all born in Italy.
Thomas filed for another land patent in 1937 for land in section 23, 9N 52W.
In 1940 Logan County, Andrew 70 has no occupation. John Soadori 61 is farming, born in Italy, and so is Donald Snowden 27 born in Nebraska.

May 26, 1909 "The Colorado Colony Company are on another big colony deal. They have been busy this week with representatives of a large colony, consisting of 130 families, who will each handle 40 to 80 acres. The Giacomoni, Pedroni, Judd, Powell and Dillon ranches are to be included in the prosposdtion. This will mean 500 people for Logan county and nearly one million dollars invested here if the transaction is consumated. The Republican - Advocate is not at liberty to enter into more complete detail of the huge transaction at this time."
GEORGE
July 1900 " A young man or boy, aged about 15 to 18 years, who has been working for George Pedroni, skipped out Saturday taking a horse and saddle belonging to Mr. Pedroni. The matter has been placed in Sheriff Beattie's hands and the young fellow will no doubt come to grief over his rash act."
August 4, 1900 "Sheriff Beattie made a flying trip to Denver yesterday. He will leave for Columbus, Neb., this evening, the police there having apprehended the young man who skipped some time ago with a horse and saddle belonging to George Pedroni."

January 1910 "George Pedroni loaded a car of baled alfalfa at Minto station last week, which Mr. Chapman had bought for shipment. The price in the car was $9 a ton. Mr. Pedroni is now baling wild hay of which he will have about sixty tons."

Mary Pedroni married Otto Follardori, and is in Logan County in 1920, Otto 33 born in Italy, Mary 26 in Nebraska, Laurence 1, and newborn John and Mark.
His second wife Agnes R. (Follardori) Pedroni 1872-1956 is also buried in Sterling # 43o687434.

Rose V. (Pedroni) Parke 1902-1996 is buried in Sterling, # 43687485.
"Rose V. Parke, 94, of Sterling, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 1996 in Sterling. Visitation and viewing will begin at noon Sunday at the Chaney-Walters Funeral Home, with a vigil service and rosary at 7 p.m. that evening at Chaney-Walters. The funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with he Rev. Bob Whipkey officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Mrs. Parke was born Sept. 4, 1902 to George and Agnes (Folladori) Pedroni in Sterling.
She married Francis Joseph Parke on July 21, 1934 in Denver. They lived northwest of Sterling until her husband's death in May, 1990.
She taught in country schools and Lincoln School, and finished her teaching at Stevens School.
Mrs. Parke was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, the Retired Teachers Association, and a member of the Colorado Cattlemen's Association.
She is survived by 16 nieces and nephews, Laurence Folladori of Akron, John, Mark and Vincent Folladori of Iliff, Romeo Folladori of Chicago, Gene Folladori of Sterling, Virgina Folladori of Denver, Robert Harley and Carolyn Brooks of Sterling, Jean Harley and Pamela Harley of Henderson, Don Harley and Joyce Wilcox of Texas, Ann Studer and Lynn Cas sidy of California and James Harley of New Jersey; and numer ous grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a niece Shirley Yanker, four brothers and four sisters."
VIRGINIA

Virginia J. Pedroni and Edward E. Spotts married in Logan County on February 1, 1943.

He was born Aug. 31, 1903, in Sterling, the son of George and Agnes R. Folladori Pedroni, received his early schooling at Sanders School and attended Logan County High School. He engaged in farming and ranching with his brothers, northeast of Sterling, his entire adult life. He and his brother, George were still active in the operation of the farm and ranch,
Mr. Pedroni was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, served on the Sanders School Board and was a di rector on several ditch company boards.
He is survived by two sisters, Rose Parke and A. Lena Pedroni; a brother, George Pedroni, all of Sterling; several nephews and nieces and many great-nephews and great- nieces."
KATHAREEN
Kathareen is a school teacher in Mount Hope, Logan County, in 1930, living with another teacher, Bertha Cook, 20.

Mrs. Harley was born Oct. 5, 1904, in Sterling, the daughter of George W. and Agnes R. Folladori Pedroni, received her early schooling at the Sanders School, then at tended Sterling High School. She graduated from Colorado State College of Education, Greeley (now University of Northern Colorado) and taught at the Sanders School for three years before her June 23, 1931 marriage in Sterling to Harold G. Harley.
Mr. Harley worked as a mechanic in Sterling for over 40 years, retiring in 1971. He died Feb. 16,1973.
Mrs. Harley was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, and the Retired Teacher's Association. She was active in the Meet and Eat program, working many hours helping when meals were served at All Saints Episcopal Church.
She is survived by three sons, Robert G. Harley of Sterling who is circulation manager of the Journal Advocate, James H. Harley of Medford, N.J., and Donald E. Harley of Austin, Texas; six daughters, Joyce Wilcox of Corpus Christi, Texas, Ann Studer of Davis, Calif., Lynn Cassidy of La Jolla, Calif., Carolyn Brooks of Sterling, Jean Ellen Harley and Pamela L. Harley, both of Denver; two sisters, Rose Parke and A. Lena Pedroni; two brothers, Laurence Pedroni and George Pedroni, all of Sterling and 14 grand children."

" A. Lena Pedroni, 84, of 517 Park St., Sterling, died Saturday, June 25, 1994, at Devonshire Acres in Sterling.
Visitation and viewing will be from 10 a.m. Thursday at the Chancy-Walters Funeral Home chapel. Vigil service will be 7 p.m. Thursday at Chancy-Walters. Fu neral mass will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Blanco will con duct the services.
Ms. Pedroni was born Aug. 29, 1909, the daughter of George and Agnes R. Folladori Pedroni. She attended the Sanders School until eighth grade, then attended Logan County High School, from which she graduated in 1927. She worked as a receptionist for Dr. Laua's office. She later worked as an insur ance agent for the Mabray agency. She also worked for the Herbrick Agency until she retired in 1987.
Ms. Pedroni is survived by her sister, Rose V. Parke of Sterling; 17 nieces and nephews; and nu merous great and great-great neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brother and three sisters and a niece.

Mr. Pedroni, 69, a lifetime Logan County resident, died Friday in a Sterling hospital.
He was born March 8, 1911, in Sterling the son of George and Agnes Folladori Pedroni. He received his grade school education at Sanders School and graduated from Sterling High School in 1927. He was engaged in farming and ranching with his brothers, northeast of Sterling, his entire adult life, except during the time he was in the military service.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942 and served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater of operations during World War II. He was discharged fromthe Army in 1945.Mr. Pedroni was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where he served as a Lector, the Knights of Columbus and the Sterling American Legion Post No. 20.
He is survived by two brothers, Lawrence Pedroni and George Pedroni; threee sisters, Mrs. Rose Parke, Mrs. Kathareen Harley and Miss Lena Pedroni, all of Sterling; several nephews and nieces and 20 great nieces and nephews.
