"Plummer was the son of Solomon Watson and Betsey Tilton. He married first in Pittsfield, NH on 27 Jan 1860 Elizabeth M. Pillsbury, daughter of John C. Pillsbury and Lydia Bennett, and married second in 1891 Annette A."
Plummer served in D, 15th NH Infantry, and E, 1st New Hampshire, and applied for an invalid pension in Ontario in 1895, and Aneette filed for a widow's and minor pension in Colorado in 1911.
Plummer and Elizabeth's daughter Ida 1861-1879 is buried in Pittsfield.
1884 Atchison, Kansas "shoot a pigeon match at Pomeroy Park ... P. D. Watson and Charley Snider, of Cameron, winners of the Missouri State medal. Each man will shoot at 25 birds at 26 yards rise."

1907 "Announcement is made by the officials of the Santa Fe that thousands of dollars will be spent during the present season on the roadbed between La Junta and Albuquerque. The track is being rock-ballasted with rock from Starkville, Colo. and Cerrillos, N. M.. and the Raton tunnel. P. D. Watson, inspector of rail joints, says the road between La Junta and Albuquerque, when the present improvements are completed, will be the finest in the country."

Annette, 77, is still living with Herman H. 52 and Ida 42 in 1940 Denver.
