Fern 1912-2001 is buried with him "Mrs. McLavey was born on May 21, 1912 to Lee and Genevieve (Reynolds) Batterson in Pocahontas County, Iowa. On Dec. 14, 1935 she married Harold McLavey in Fort Collins.
Mrs. McLavey is survived by five sons, Jack McLavey and wife Patricia of Sterling, Morris McLavey and wife Diane of Des Moines, Iowa, Bernard McLavey and wife Brenda of Greeley, Dennis McLavey and wife Sue of Sterling and Robert McLavey of Lakewood; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold McLavey in May 1995; three brothers; and one grandchild."
