Henry and Augusta (Polletts) Boehme were natives of Hanover, Germany, and Augusta's father was for forty-five years pastor of the Lutheran Church at Hanover, Germany. About 1850, the Boehme family came to America, settling in Cass County, Ill., but in 1856, moved to Cartwright Township, Sangamon county, where the father died in 1873, and the mother in 1880.Charles R. Boehme married Caroline Parkes Sept 24, 1857 in Sangamon County, Illinois.
In 1880 Butler County, Nebraska, C.R. Boehm 50 and Caroline 42, have Charles 11, Robert 9, Anna 7, Laura 5, and Emma 2.

Harold Boehme (must be Willett H.) is in Butler County, Nebraska in 1920, nephew of Robert C. 66 and Myria 61 Townley. William 31 and Emma 25 Townley are also in the household.
Harold W. Boehme 1909-1990 and Wilma L. 1920-2009 are buried in Olinger, Thornton, Colorado.

Larry Andrew Barkley, 64, of Fleming, died Oct. 25, 2005, in Fleming.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Tennant Funeral Home. A
memorial service is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Fleming United Methodist
Church with the Rev. Al Strauss presiding. Inurnment will follow at Fleming
Cemetery.
Mr. Barkley was born July 13, 1941, in Fleming to William L. and Nora
(Boehme) Barkley. He graduated from Fleming High School in 1959 and attended Colorado
State University.
In 1961 he married Doris Frank. He was a self-employed as a farmer and real
estate agent. He was a member of the Sterling Elks Club, Haxtun American
Legion, National Pony Express Association and Fleming Saddle Club, and served on the
Fleming Rural Fire Board and Fleming Co-op Board. He was a member of Fleming
United Methodist Church.
Mr. Barkley is survived by his wife, Doris C. Barkley; three children, Wendy
L. Schulz of Kersey, Eric William Barkley of Fleming, and Rick Allen Barkley
of Fleming; one brother, Bob Barkley of Greeley; and two grandchildren.

Charles R. Boehme married Emma J. Phillips June 14, 1903, recorded in Logan County.
In 1910 Logan County, Charles R. Boehme, 41 Illinois, and Emmily 32, California have been married seven years. They have Ellenlyse 5, Alvin E. 3, and Willette H. nine months.
Emily is in Siskiyou County, California in 1880, 2, with Oliver 58 and his wife Elizabeth 28.
# 129248168 "Charles R. Boehme was born in Illinois January 5, 1869. He later lived in Nebraska, and moved with his parents to Colorado in 1888, where his father homesteaded in the Cedar Valley, north of Sterling. Mr. Boehme homesteaded near Dailey in 1904, where his home had been since.
On the 14th of June, 1903, he was married to Emma J. Phillips of Haxtun. Mrs. Boehme died February 11, 1914, leaving five children, all of whom are living. Mr. Boehme died after a long illness. He is survived by his aged mother and five sisters."
