July 1957 Greeley "Mrs. Gale Rosling, 31, of Welby died suddenly Wednesday morning. She had been ill for the past three weeks with nephritis. The former Ada Pierce, she was the daughter of Mrs. Oakley Pierce of Briggsdale and daughter-in-law of Mrs. Fred Rosling of. 823 Thirteenth street: Her husband had gone to work and the children were home with Mrs. Rosling. When her condition became worse, they called neighbors who rushed her to the hospital. She died shortly after being admitted. Mrs. Rosling attended CSCE. After her marriage, she traveled extensively with her husband who was a captain in the' air force. He went on inactive duty about ;wo years ago. Since that time, he ias been employed at the paper factory at Welby. The children are Norman, 14, Susan, 8, and Kenneth, 4. "

"Daisy Maxine Millsap, 77, of Evans died Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at her home.
She was born May 19, 1931, in Greeley to Frank and Muriel (Wright) Briggs. She attended Ashton Elementary School and Middle School and College High School in Greeley.
On May 19, 1951, she married Jesse 'Shorty' Millsap in Greeley. They raised their children in the Weld County area.
Daisy attended church at First Assembly of God Church of Greeley. She loved to spend time with her family, play cards, work on crossword puzzles and take recreational trips to Black Hawk, and cooking and gardening. She also loved watching “I Love Lucy.”
Daisy is survived by her three sons, Jerry L. Millsap and wife Lois of Evans, Raymond F. Millsap and wife Irene of Ogallala, Neb., and Randy K. Millsap and wife Janet of La Salle; four grandchildren, Amy, Gina, Jessica and Alexis; five step-grandchildren, Jeremy, Fay, Keith, Troy and Brandy; six great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter, Hayden; and numerous stepgreat-grandchildren; special friends, Lloyd and Sylvia Libsack of Greeley, Sandra Haun of San Angelo, Texas, Shizuko “Sue” Millsap of Oceanside, Calif., and Jo Stutts of Greeley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse “Shorty” Millsap, and daughter, Marla Millsap."
