"The daughter of William and Laura Hedger. Her siblings were: Nelson Hedger and Julia A.(Hedger) Gwin. Her birthdate was calculated based on the information on her tombstone which stated that she was 40 years, and 8 months old at the time of her death. Olive was the wife of Alvy Salisbury a son of Robert O. Salisbury and Martha Olmstead. They were married in Cass Co. Michigan on September 13, 1846. She was the mother of seven children: Nelson/1847, Marinda/1850, Royal A./1852, Emma B./1855, Ensign/1857, Emily Adel/1862, Hulbert W./1864. Alva died in 1865 intestate. And Olive also died intestate leaving five minor children."
"The cemetery is located in Howard Township, Section 1 on what was the original land grant in 1837 to Robert O. Salisbury. It is reached via a grassy lane off of Anderson Road. A chain link fence encloses the cemetery. There are over a dozen old stone memorials in very poor condition and difficult to read representing burials in the later half of the 19th century."

September 1899 "W. B. Salisbury purchased a fine Arabian colt—a yearling —Saturday. Consideration $75.00."
November 14, 1918 "Mrs. Elizabeth Salisbury died at the home of her son Forrest in Denver at 2 o'clock Saturday morning. Mrs. Salisbury would have been seventy-six years old on November 15 and death was due to debility of old age. Mrs. Salisbury was one of the pioneer residents of Logan county, coming here with her husband at an early date. She is survived by two sons Forrest of Denver, and Alfred of Sterling. Her husband, T. J. Salisbury, died about four years ago. The body was brought here for burial. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sterling cemetery."
