John and Maria Hanrahan , Fleming
 


In 1880 Adair County, Iowa, John Hanrahan is farming, 47, Mariah 37, both born in Ireland. Mary 15, Anna 10, John 5, Margaret 6 in Pennsylvania, Patrick 3, and Joseph 1 born in Iowa.

John cash-claimed a quarter in sections 22 and 27, 8N 49W in 1894.
Mary proved up a quarter in section 28, 8N 49W in 1894.

In 1900 Logan County, John born March 1834 in Ireland married 37 years to Maria May 1845. She's had ten kids, seven living. Edward March 1886 Nebraska is with them.

In 1910 Logan County, Maria Hanrahan is widowed, 5, born in Ireland. She's had ten kids, five living. She said she immigrated in 1853. Son Patrick 33 Iowa, Edward 24 Nebraska, and daughter Mary 45 born in Pennsylvania are with her.

John Hanrahan 1836-1902 is buried in Haxtun, with Maria (Jennings) Hanrahan 1846-1926.
Their sons John 1871-1905 and Edward 1886-1936 are also buried there.
Patrick Hanrahan proved up a quarter in 27, 8N 49W in 1913.
Patrick Jerry Hanrahan registered for WWI with an address of Fleming, born June 16, 1885, farming nearest relative Mary Hanrahan of Fleming.
In 1920 Logan County, Maria 73 has Edward 33 and Patrick 43.
In 1930 Logan County Mary 64, Patrick 54, and Edward 44 are living together.

Patrick 1878-1941 is buried in Haxtun # 58925067.
