Donald Eugene Demoret passed away February 27, 2011 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born in Riverside, California to Lawrence Demoret and Helen Smith. Don was a great husband, father and son. Don was an avid reader, computer whiz, and received many awards with his accomplishments with Boeing Aircraft. He enjoyed Nascar races and the outdoor activities. Don is preceded in death by his son Curtis Demoret and brother Raymond Demoret. He is survived by his wife Sylvia Demoret of Corpus Christi, Texas, his father, Lawrence Demoret of Wichita, Kansas, his mother Helen Goben also of Wichita, Son Tracey (Amy) Demoret of Mulvane, Kansas, brothers, James (Leonara) Demoret of Pensacola, Florida and Stephen (Rosie) Demoret of San Diego, California, sister, Muirlina (Michael) Biggs, uncles, Herbert Demoret of Arkansas and Donald Smith of Kansas, Step-children Amanda (Jesse) Arriaga, Jose Luis (Erika) DelaGarza of Corpus Christi, grandchildren, Paul, Ivey, Jasmin Todd, Step-grandchildren Miranda, Christabel, Isaac and Matthew Ybarra and numerous nieces and nephews. -------------------------------------------------- 1958 Sedalia, Missouri " At three o’clock Sunday afternoon, May 18, Miss Gail Van Arsdale exchanged vows with Herbert A. Demoret in a single ring ceremony performed by the Rev. L. 0. Smith in the chapel of the First Methodist Church, Wichita. Kan. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Van Arsdale, Wichita. Kan., and the groom is the son of Mrs. Agnes Demoret. Wichita. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kipping, 1400 South Barrett, are the grandparents of the bride. Miss Carolyn Jones was maid of honor. Laurence Demoret, brother of the groom, served as best man. After a trip to Washington. D.C., and New York City the couple will reside in Holyoke, .Mass Herbert "Herb" Demoret, age 88, of Marshall, Arkansas passed away on January 4, 2017 at home. Herb was born in Jetmore, Kansas on June 25, 1928 to Fred O. Demoret and Agnes Sandburn. Herb served in the Navy during the Korean War. Most of his career was spent in the Merchant Marines. Herb is preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife Arline (died in 1999); half-sister Rachel Harness; half-brother Paul Demoret; and half-brother David Demoret. Herb is survived by a brother, Lawrence Demoret; half-brother Phillip Demoret; half-brother Stephen Demoret; and half-sister Ruth Uzzel. He is also survived by his daughter Julie Bailiff and son-in-law Aaron; daughter Debbie Demoret; grandson Matt Bailiff; granddaughter Amanda Coday; and 3 great-grandchildren. Herb had an immediate burial thru the Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, beside his beloved wife, Arline, in the Passmore/Thola Cemetery, Searcy County, Arkansas. Graveside services to be held at a later date. |
