Benjamin 1817-1896 is buried in Adams County # 75715678 "B. F. Munson came from Illinois to Nebraska in 1870, taking up a homestead on the Blue where he died. He was married twice, sixteen children being born to the first wife who died in 1877. In May 1883 he married Mrs. Phoebe Carter who survives him. Besides his aged wife sixteen children mourn his loss; the children being scattered all over the United States, only seven being able to be present at the funeral.
Interment was at the Wilson cemetery under the management of A. E. Burnside GAR post of Bladen of which he was a member."

May 1900 Sterling "L. A. Munson has had his cattle camp near Haxtun for several years past but on account of the convenience of having his bunch nearer home he brought them down in the valley last week. Lou has a fine herd of cattle."
