Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reed and their daughter Maxine, Mrs. Julia Reed, and Miss Marjorie HuS, all of Marysvllle, Kas.; were here yesterday to attend the wedding of Miss Mary Lassman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Lassman of Humboldt, and Bill Reed, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Reed, which took place yesterday afternoon at the Christian church in Humboldt. They were guests at the Roy W. Reed home."
December 1941 "Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Reed will go to Kansas City Saturday to spend the week-end with their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Reed. Mrs. J. W. Reed's parents Mr. and Mrs. John Lassman of Humboldt expect to go with them."
1943 Iola, Kansas " Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Reed went to Eureka to spend the week-end with their son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Reed and Johnny."
1951 Iola Kansas " Dr. Stanley Lovestedt and his daughters; Priscilla Lee and Helen Louise of Rochester, Minn . spent Sunday with Mrs. Roy W. Reed. From here they went to Eureka to visit Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Reed and their family and Mrs. Roy W. Reed accompanied them to Eureka. Dr. Lovestedt is representing the Mayo clinic at the state dental meeting in Wichita this week."
July 7, 1943 Iola "Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Reed of Eureka announce the birth of a daughter July 1, whom they have named Margaret Ann. Mr. Reed is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Reed, and Mrs. Reed is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lassman, former residents of Humboldt."
October 1943 "Roy W. Reed will arrive this evening from Emporia to spend the week-end at his home here. He will stop at Eureka for his son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Reed and Johnny and Margaret Ann, who will also spend the week-end here."
1951 "Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Reed have recently moved to Noel, Mo. Mrs. Reed was a teacher at Lincoln school."
1953 "Mrs. Roy W. Reed of Noel, Mo., arrived yesterday to visit Mrs. Will King. Tomorrow she will go to Eureka to visit her son. Bill Reed and family."

His death certificate says he was born Sept 2, 1892 at Marysville, Kansas to Harry T. Reed and Gertrude Richey. He died in Noel, McDonald County, Missouri.
May 13, 1954 "Roy W. Reed, 61, former owner of the credit bureau in Iola, died yesterday at his home in Noel, Mo. After he sold his business here Reed represented Dun and Bradstreet until he retired about three years ago due to ill health. He has lived at Noel since then. He is survived by his wife: a son. J W Reed, Eureka, and three grandchildren. Services will be held at 9 a. m. Friday in the Methodist Church at Noel with the Rev. A L .Pltchford in charge. The body will be taken to Eureka for burial with graveside services at 3 pm tomorrow."
