BELLE'S FAMILY

Hulda Belle was born Sept 14, 1896 at Adrian Illinois to Harvey Yaple and Elizabeth Spangelr.

In 1900 Belle is in Barton County, Missouri, born Sept 1896. Harvey Yaple is farming, 40, Lizzie 33, Josie 12, and Zoe 6, all born in Illinois.

Huldah is buried in Scotland County, Missouri # 73995969.
"Huldah Wagner was born in Baroer county, West Virginia, May 26, 1843. Here she passed her childhood days until she was 12 years old, when her parents moved to Warsaw, Ill.
She was married to A. M. Spangler Oct. 20, 1859. Eleven children have been born to them, seven of whom have gone before the mother to the spirit world.
Four are left to mourn the loss of their mother. They are, John Spangler and Lizzie Yaple, of Memphis, Charles Spangler, of LaHarpe, Illinois and Edward Spangler, of Denver, Colorado.
Twenty-one years ago last Oct. Mr. and Mrs. Spangler moved to Scotland county, locating in the northwest part of the county. Here they made their home, except for about three years, when they lived in Schuyler county, until Dec. 1903, when they moved to Memphis, where they have resided ever since."

Aubrey M. Spangler is buried in Scotland County, Missouri 1840-1915 # 77604152.
"A. M. Spangler was born near Carthage, Illinois in the year 1840.
He joined the Methodist Church at an early age. He moved to Scotland County about forty years ago and has resided here until his death.
He was married to Hulda Waggoner October 29, 1859, and to this union was born 11 children, all of whom died in infancy except four who live to mourn the death of their beloved father.
Mrs. Spangler passed away December 21, 1907 after a brief illness.
In 1913 he was married to Mary E. Talbert whom he leaves to mourn his death.
John Spangler of Memphis, Mo., Mrs. Lizzie Yaple of Memphis, Mo., Charley Spangler of Kirksville, Mo., Edward Spangler of Denver, Colo. are left to mourn his death.
He leaves 10 grandchildren, Mrs. Josie Crawford of near Downing, Mrs. Belle Winsor of Marion, Ohio, and Joe and Carl Yaple of this city. Gorden, Cleta, Violet and Alice Spangler of Ill. and Carl Spangler of Denver, Colo. All of his brothers and sisters have been called home to a better land. Mr. Spangler was known by many and all regret to hear of his death. "

CLARENCE'S FAMILY

Clarence Thomas Winsor was born Nov 10, 1891 in Westfield, Morrow County, Ohio to Joseph H. Winsor and Ida Rupp.

In 1900 Marion County, Joseph is 40, Ida 38, Mettie 12, Lawrence A. 9, Clarence 7, and Mildredand Milford both 3.

In 1910 Marion County, Clarence is 18, Milford and Mildred both 13, wtih Joseph and Ida.

Clarence T. Winsor of Marion, Ohio, and Belle Yopel of Memphis, Scotland County, Missouri, married there on September 22, 1914.
Clarence Winsor, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Winsor, No. 847 Mound street, was married to Miss Belle Yaple, of Memphis, Missouri, Tuesday evening, at Memphis. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Mr. Wagner, pastor of the Christian church of that place. The young people arrived here Thursday morning and will make their future home with the groom's parents. Mr. Winsor is a coremaker at the Marion Steam Shovel shops.
Clarence is a carpenter in 1920 Topeka, Kansas, 28, with Bell 23, Vergil C. 4, Alta B. 2, and newborn Willard T.

When Hulda's brother John Spangler died in Scotland County, Missouri 1862-1923 "At the time of his death John was survived by his wife; a sister Lizzie Yaple of Denver, Colorado and two brothers, Charles F. Spangler of Knox City, Missouri and Edward M. Spangler of Denver, Colorado. "

In 1930 Denver, Clarence is a streetcar conductor, 38, born in Ohio, with Belle 33 Illinois. Virgil is 13, Alta B. 12, both born in Ohio, Willard 10 in Kansas, Hulda M. 8, Harold J. 7, Carl A. 3, and Charley E. eight months born in Colorado.

Clarence claimed a tract in sections 8 9, and 14, 8N 51W and in section 25, 9N 52W in 1935.

In 1940 Clarence and Belle are in Marion, Ohio, where he is a machinist on a steam shovel. Virgil 24 works in reforestation, Hulda 18 is sewing, Harold A. 17 is a laborer. Carl is 13, Chesley E. 11, Richard W. 9, and Martha Louise 5 were born in Colorado, Raymond 8 in Missouri. All except Raymond were in Sterling, Colorado in 1935.

Clarence 1891-1970 is buried in Raytown, Jackson County, Missouri # 32123671.

Winsor of Kansas City, MO, Carl A. Winsor of Marion, OH, Chesley Winsor of Mountain Grove, MO, Richard Winsor of Aurora, MO and Raymond Winsor of Kansas City, MO; 3 daughters Alta Belle Myrick of Wichita, KS, Hulda Keller of San Leandro, CA, and Martha Heath of Independence, MO; 22 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Burial Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, MO. "

"Clarence T. Winsor, 78 formerly of Marion, died Wednesday in Mansfield Hospital at Mansfield, Mo., after a two month illness. His home was at Green Mountain, Mo. While living here, Mr. Winsor was employed by Marion Power Shovel Co. as a planer operator. He was the father of 12 including two sons and a daughter who preceded him in death. Born Nov. 10, 1891, he was the son of Joseph and Ida Rupp Winsor. In 1914, in Memphis, Mo., he married Hulda Belle Yaple who died in 1957. Two years later he married Addie Stigull who survives. Six sons surviving are Carl of 125 Wallace St. in Marion, Willard, Harold and Leon of Independence, Mo., Chesley of Mountain Grove and Richard of Aurora, Mo. Three daughters are Mrs. Alta Belle Myrick of Wichita, Kan., Mrs. Hulda Keller of San Lenardo, Calif. and Mrs. Louise Heath of Independence. Mrs. William Layman of 469 Uncapher Ave. and Mrs. William Jackman of 969 Oak Grove Ave. are sisters. Bergman-Miller Funeral Home of Hartville, Mo., is handling arrangements. Services have been set tentatively for Friday at Green Mountain Baptist Church of which Mr. Winsor was a member."

Hulda Belle (Yaple) Winsor 1896-1957, dying in Independence, Missouri, is buried with Clarence # 113562538 "Father Harvey Yaple,, mother Elizabeth Spangler.

In 1969 Mrs. Addie Winsor was living in Mountain Grove, Missouri, daughter of William J. Hays and Mary E. Babcock.

Carl A. Winsor, 21, of Marion, Ohio, born in Englewood Colorado to Clarence T. Winsor and Hulda Belle Yeaple, married Ruby Webb in Marion County on October 12, 1947.

Martha Louise Winsor and Bobby D. Holmes, both of Jackson County, Missouri, married there on November 15, 1952.

Martha Louise Heath, born November 15, 1934, in 1987 was living in Blue Springs, Missouri, and in 1989 living in Buckner, Missouri.
