Justin F Jones, 84, of Atwood, died April 6, 1996 in Sterling. Visitation and viewing will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9 at in the Chaney-Walters. Funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 10 at the Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Dave Moorman officiating. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery. He was born, Sept. 4, 1911 in Atwood, to Benjamin and Jenny May (White) Jones. He received his schooling and graduated from high school in Atwood. He continued his education at A & M College in Fort Collins. He married Ardith Lewis June 6, 1937 in Willard. He farmed for 30 years, was county commissioner for eight years and a real estate broker until he retired. He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, The BPO Elks Lodge No. 1336, the Masonic Temple, the El Jebel Shriners and the Atwood Methodist Church. Mr. Jones was an avid nature photographer. He is survived by three daughters; Jeanette Cope and husband Bob of Louisville, Virginia Walter and husband Junior of Brush and Patricia Luss and husband Michael, of Jamison Pa.; one sister, Charlotte White of Fort Collins; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grand children. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife, Ardith in 1991, his parents and one brother Ben Jones. ------------------------------------------------------ Benjamin Thomas Jones 1903-1989 is buried in Sterling # 139953933, with his name on the same stone as his parents. ---------------------------------------------- Charlotte might have been the one who married Clyde Leroy White in 1922, recorded in Morgan County. In 1930 Logan County, he's a line foreman, 26, with Charlotte 28, Pauline 7, Winona 6, and Wayne 4. They're in Larimer County in 1940, with Pauline 17, Winona 16, Donald 9, and Marvin 2.
