My mom was born July 1 1911 in Nebraska to Mable Walden. My grandfather had already raised a family when mom was born. He left and was never seen again. I'm sure he is deceased by now but I would like to know if I have any relatives some where out there that I have never heard of. Mom was raised by her brother Fred Stake and they moved to Crook colorado. She seem to have no ill feelings toward her father but she is 90 years old this year and would enjoy hereing from relatives, if there are any out there. thanks judy

He graduated from Proctor High School in 1937 and later served in the US Army Air Corp. He married Dorothy Swedzinski on July 18, 1946 in Taunton, Minnesota. He owned and operated Stake Construction Co. at sites throughout the Midwest, including 14 states from Canada to Mexico. They moved their construction headquarters and made their home in Lennox since 1956. Bill was a member of Saint Mary Magdalen's Catholic Church in Lennox. "

Raymond Richard Stake was born August 5, 1924 at Proctor, Colorado, dying Feb 11, 2005.

Edith Loyd Stake was born at Proctor Oct 12, 1925, dying as Edith Kratzer Dec 17, 1996, last residence Denton, Texas.

She's buried in Delta, Colorado # 20031827.

Dale Lee Stake, 63, of Sioux Falls, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Southridge Health Care Center in Sioux Falls following a lengthy illness with cancer.
Dale was born September 16, 1947 in Los Angeles, CA. He had been a resident of Denver, CO since age 10 where he received his education. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Denver and worked various jobs, including shoe salesman, roofer, and other construction trades. Dale moved to Sioux Falls in April of 2010 due to ill health.
Surviving relatives include his siblings, Phauneil Conger of Sioux Falls, SD, Carroll 'Bud' Stake and Roland Stake, both of Denver, CO, and James Galvin of Sioux Falls. His children, Dale Stake, Jr., Autumn Howes and Brooke Stake also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Rock Frederick Stake.
Robert G. Cullison married Phauneil R Stake in 1982 in Colorado.
