"I am looking for information on a Sabrina Gwin of Poweshiek County. She was born about 1851 in Iowa. In 1870 she was living in Bear Creek with her husband Leander Laxon and son Edwin. She died in 1880 in Hebron, Thayer, Nebraska. I believe the son Edwin died before 1880. They allegedly had two daughters Sarah and Edith. Those girls did not apparently live with Leander (my great-great grandfather) after their mother's death. I thought perhaps they were raised by a sibling of Sabrina's.
