Samuel Solomon and Fi-Anna (Kinzy) (Reyburn) Leech, Jesse Jay  and Nannie May (Reyburn) Ferree, Beulah L. (Reyburn) (Wiggle) Leech

 Jesse J. is with parents John W. and Mary in Bourbon County Kansas in 1900, born Feb 1886.  Siblings Ernest D. July 1888, Clara Sept 1890 and William June 1898.

Nannie, born Oct 1889 in California, is in Johnson County Missouri in 1900, with parents Joseph and Annie.    Brother Edie is 14, Maggie 12, both born in Colorado, and Beulah 8. Missouri.

Joseph R. Reyburn of Schell City, Vernon County married Anna Kinzy of Aullville February 1883.

 

In 1900 Johnson County, Samuel and Julia Leech are both 39, with "Eula" B. 15, Thomas D. 11, May 9, Goldie 7, William D. 5, Worthy 3, and Ruth eight months.

Julia Ann (Dock) Leech, per FindaGrave, is buried in Bluff Springs Cemetery, Kingsville.

Fi-Anna Kinzey married Samuel Solomon Leech February 28, 1904.

They're in Washington County, Colorado in 1910.  Samuel 60, Anna R. 42, with Dock T. 24, William D. 15, Worthie 14, Ruth 12, and Samuel A. 3.

Samuel S. proved up two quarters in 3, 5N 50W (Washington County, Colorado) in 1913.  Samuel W. Leech cash-claimed a quarter in 8N 52W in 1891.

"Yula" B. Leech married Henry Lawson Blystone January 2, 1917, recorded in Denver.

Ruth Leech married William C. Oliver November 28, 1918, recorded in Logan County.

In 1920 Washington County they just have Samuel, 13.

In 1930 Washington County, Samuel S. Leech is 69, "Fionna" 63,  with son Samuel A. 23 married to Ruth M. 20, born in Washington.

Samuel A. Leech married Marjorie E. Innes August 22, 1928, recorded in Logan County. " Innes is adopted family name, birth name Ruth Marjorie Watson"

In 1940 Montezuma County, Sam A. 33 and Marjorie 30 have Robert , born in Colorado, and Samuel 69 and Anna 73 are with them.

Samuel Leech -1906-1990 is buried in Bay View Cemetery, Skagit County, Washington.

Ukiah California - August 1948  "Samuel Leech, Sr., is enjoying a visit from his two daughters, Mrs. Goldie Ingles of Bakersfield and Mrs.  H . L. Blystone of Dove Creek, Colorado. Mrs. Ingles, who flew to Illinois for a new car, stopped en route home, at Dove Creek where her sister, Mrs. Blystone joined her for the remainder of the trip to California, The sisters are at the homes of Mr?, C. Oliver, another sister, and gan Leech, a brother."

One tree said Nannie Mae Reyburn born Oct 18, 1889 in Red Bluff, California, married Jessie Jay Ferree Jun  6, 1909 in Contra Costa County, California.

Jesse proved up  323 acres in 31, 6N 50W and 6, 5N 50W in 1913, so his land straddled the Logan/Washington County line..

Jesse registered with a Burdett Colorado address, born Feb 21, 1886, married to Nannie.

In 1920 Logan County, Jesse, 33, Kansas, and Nannie 30, California, have Virgil D. 7 and Deloris J. 1, both born in Colorado.

All four are in Burbank, California in 1930.

Jesse Jay Ferree -1886-1944 is buried in Forest Lawn, Glendale, California.  One tree said he died Nov 5, 1944 in Portland, Oregon.

Nannie May Ferree, born Nov 18, 1889, died April 26, 1985 in Los Angeles County, mother name Kinzy, father Reyburn.

Virgil D. Verree, 28, is a doctor in Bridger, Montana in 1940, married to Lyra, 26, with Virginia 3 and James 1.

Virgil died June 23, 1980 in Flathead County, Montana.

BEULAH

The trees say one of Nannie's sisters was Beulah Linn Leech, 1891-1984, buried in Dolores, Colorado. In 1910 Washington County Samuel S. Leech and Anna R. Leech have "Dock T." 24, William D. 15, Worthie 14, Ruth 12, and Samuel A. 3.

H.C. Wiggle and Beulah L. Wiggle divorced in Garfield County in 1918.

In 1920 Washington County Thomas D. 30 and Beulah L. 27 Leech, with Orbray C. Leech, 7, are in Washington County, Colorado.

Thomas D. 41 and Beulah L. Leech, 39 are in Washington County Colorado in 1930, with her son Orbra Wiggle, 18, Nebraska, and Joseph S. 9 and Betty A. 7 Leech, both born in Colorado.  They're next to John E. Reyburn 44, born in Colorado, and his wife Hazel 35, born in Iowa.,  daughter Eleanor A. 13.

Orbra C. Wiggle married Irene R. Campbell August 1, 1932, recorded in Washington County.

Thomas 51 and Beulah 48 Leech, with Joseph Samuel Leech 19 and Betty Anna Leech 17 are in Washington County in 1940.

Thomas 1889-1980 and Beulah 1891-1984 are buried in Dolores, Colorado.

Samuel Solomon Leech -1861-1949 and Fianna R. Leech -1867-1940 are buried in Cortez.  Samuel was Thomas' father, Fianna was Beulah's mother.

WASENE

Allen Earl Anderson married Esther Marie Danielson May 21, 1913, recorded in Denver.  In 1920 Denver Allen and Esther M. have Allen Jr. 5 and Edward F. 3.

Allen Earl Anderson married Wasene Leech Jun 11, 1921 in El Paso County, Colorado.

In 1924 Tulsa Allen E. Anderson is a credit man for Tulsa Oxygen Co, married to Wasene E., and they're in Denver in 1927 and 1930.

Allen Jr. and Edward are living with grandparents Anton and Ida Danielson in 1930 and 1940 Denver.

Wasene 44 and Allen E. Anderson 51 are in Denver in 1940 - he's a salesman, she's a secretary.

Wasene E. Anderson, born Feb 1, 1896 in Missouri, died in Los Angeles County March 9, 1983, father Leech.

EULA

Eula Hughey, born Jan 23, 1885 in Missouri, died Feb 21, 1984 in Ventura County - mother Dock, father Leech.

FindaGrave says she was a nurse, married Henry 1917, John August 1, 1950 - no burial site listed.

GOLDIE

FindaGrave - no cemetery listed - says she married Lloyd Ingles in Fort Morgan in 1921, divorced in 1934, a librarian born in Kingsville, Missouri Jan 29, 1893, dying in Bakersfield Sept 27, 1986.  Married Lloyd Glenn Ingles. 1901-1981 - he has a stone in El Carmelo, Monteryey COunty, California.

SAMUEL

Samuel married Ruth Marjorie Watson (Innes at the time of marriage).  She was born March 23, 1910 in Spokane, Wathington to L.D. Watson and Ruth Barber., died September 8, 1986 in Bayview, Washington, per one tree.

WILLIAM

William D. Leech registered with a Burdett, Colorado address, born October 3, 1894, in Kingsville, Missouri, single, student at a theological school.  He claimed exemption because of his Seventh-Day Adventist religion.

In 1938 he was 43, married to Irma Geraldine born Dec 23, 1898 in Arlington, Nebraska, and they had William, Jr. 3 - born in Australia, sailing from Sydney Australia to San Pedro, California- they lived in Pasadena.

Dr. William Dale Leech, 81, of 35235 LaFlora, Yucaipa, died Tuesday in a Loma Linda hospital. He was born in Kingsville, Mo., and lived in California 55 years.  Dr. Leech was a retired professor with Loma Linda University and was also on the faculty at California Institute of Technology, Pasadena.

Survivors include his wife, Oleta F.; a daughter, Geraldine L. Dickinson of Minneapolis, Minn.; six sisters, Ula Hughey, Manny Ferree and Wausine Anderson, all of Long Beach, Beulah Leech of Cortez, Colo., Goldie Ingles of Kern City, and Ruth Oliver of Redwood Valley; three brothers, Ed Reyburn of Long Beach, Dock Leech of Cortez, and Sam Leech of Mt. Vernon, Wash., four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. today in Hughes Loma Linda Mortuary with interment following in Montecito Memorial Park
