DIED - Saturday evening, March 21, Nellie, the little daughter of Professor S.H. Johnson. Little Nellie was taken with a severe attack of the lung fever and was sick but a short time till death claimed her. She was the only child and none can truly sympathize with the parents, except those who have passed through similar afflictions.


The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Bailey, at the M.E. church, Sunday afternoon and the little body was laid away in the cemetery to await the morning of the resurrection.
