Margaret Lucinda Brower Conover and Fred Alvan Conover

Fred was born Jan 26, 1876 in Washington County, Iowa to Henry and Margretta (Bense) Conover.

Margaret April 23, 1881 in Smith County, Kansas to James Andrew Brower and Angeline Siler Brower.

They married Oct 10, 1900 in Osborne County Kansas, and were living there in 1910 and 1915.

Fred registered for WWI in Yuma County, saying he was farming, (renter).

In 1920 they're in Yuma County, with Erwin 18, Herald V. 13, Clifton R. 11, Delbert A. 9, Doris 7, and Edith 3.

Fred proved up a quarter in sections 6 and 7, 1S 48W - right on the Washington County line - in 1923

Margaret died in 1923, and is buried in the Yuma cemetery.

In 1930 north Yuma County Harry E. 28 is married to Katherine C., 22 and they have ten-month-old Vera M.   Sister Edith D. 14 is with them.  He married Katherina Christina Korf December 28, 1927.  They're in Washington County in 1940, with Vera Mae 1o, Neva Darlene 8, Merma Lodene  5, and Dale Erwin -one month.

In 1930 Fred, widowed, is back in Osborne County, Kansas with Harold, Doris, and Fred's brother John, 60.
