Charles B. and Nannie (Boyd) Lincoln

In 1880 Hocking County, Ohio, Alvin Lincoln is 27, Sarah 26, Charles 6, Lydia 3, and Albert 2.

THIS IS NOT THE Charles Lincoln is in Mills County, Iowa in 1880, 18, with Albert 62 and Bettsy 60. Jane is 19, Benjamin 30, Thomas 24, Hanna 25, George 27 ,and George's wife Tillie 19.

Nancy E. Boyd was in Fremont County, Iowa in 1880, 11, with David D. 32 and Amanda 29. William A. is 13, Nancy 11, Edwinnie R. 10, Cebrain B. 6, and Novasa 1.

In 1900 Mills County, Iowa, Chas. born August 1873 in Ohio, married one year to Nanny E. August 1872 Missouri.

March 26, 1909 "C. B Lincoln, of Pacific Junction, Iowa, arrived in Wray last Saturday with a carload of goods. He has located on a farm a few miles north of town."

August 13, 1909 Longmont, Colorado "Dale and Paul Gilmore have been visiting their aunt, Mrs. C. B. Lincoln, at Wray, Colorado, and Mrs. John Gilmore, their mother, went to Denver Monday to meet the boys and see them home."

In 1910 Yuma County, Charles and Nannie are farming, no kids.

C. B. Lincoln is listed in section 13, Plattville Township, Mills County 1910 directory. Alvin, Thomas, Shirl, and Thomas are in section 12.

Mills County, Iowa deaths "LINCOLN, Mrs. Charles (Nina Boyd) July 31, 1911 "

May 1912 "C. B. Lincoln, living fourteen miles north, was in town yesterday. He brought his sister, Mrs. Gilmore, in to take the train to Longmont, Colorado, where she resides. She has been visiting in Mr. Lincoln's home for a few days."

This is Edwina Dell Boyd, Nannie's sister, who married John Gilmore in Fremont County Iowa on February 3, 1893.

July 1913 "The two Misses Hobson, who arrived two weeks ago for a visit with their brother, C. B. Lincoln, of north of town left Tuesday evening for their home in Glenwood, Iowa."
(These might be Lydia Hobson born 1894 and Vernice 1897, daughters of Jane Lincoln Hobson 1861-1936.)

John W. Hobson had married Jane Lincoln in Mills County on March 2, 1884.

Charles proved up two quarters in section 2, 3 North 44 West, and 35, 4 North 44 West in 1916.

Charles Benjamin Lincoln married Estella Edna Carney, 37, on March 21, 1918 in Holdrege, Nebraska.
Estella's parents were John Carney of New York and Eliza Foster, who had married in Detroit, Michigan. (1925 Iowa census captured that information)
John Carney 1839-1903 is buried in Saline County, Nebraska # 101502965, with Elizabeth (Foster) Carney 1844-1927 # 101502986.
Estella's sister Rhua married William A. Gabel, buried in Wray.

In 1920 Charles is back in Mills County, now married to Estella E. 38, born in Nebraska.

They're farming in Mills County in 1930.

Charles Benjamin Lincoln's death certificate has him born August 26, 1874 to Alvin Lincol and Sarah Hobson, dying May 31, 1934. He is buried in Glenwood, Iowa # 173713265.
Nannie Boyd Lincoln 1872-1911 and Estella F. Lincoln 1880-1956 were his spouses.
