Anna C. (Crow) Felton

In 1880 Nemaha County, Nebraska, George Crow is 59, Mary 56, Annie 26, and Walter 15.

Her parents George and Mary (Ware) Crow are buried in Nemaha County
"Mr. and Mrs. Crow have been the parents of the following children :
Lydia Ellen, wife of Amos Mclninch, of St. Joseph, Missouri ;
Charles Elliott, who died when five years old;
George Ranney, who died at the age of two months;
Anna, wife of John Felton, in Auburn; William Allen, of Oklahoma, who has had one son by each of two wives ;
Susan O., wife of John Ritchey, a merchant of Brownville, and has two sons:
Ida M., wife of David Kite, a farmer near Howe, and has one son and two daughters;
Mary Emma died in infancy;
Walter P. is in Colorado, and has two daughters and one son ; Charlotte L. died at the age of seven months."

J.W. Felton is listed in the 1890 gazetteer of Nemaha County, Aubusn precinct.

Ida M. Kite 1859-1945 is buried in Nemaha County # 54554623 with David 1853-1908.

(William Allen Crow 1855-1929 is buried in Major County, Oklahoma, with Lottie 1867-1936 and Clara L. 1860-1897 - # 20186847.

(Walter P. is in Jefferson County, Colorado in 1900, a lumberman with Mary 37, Leah 11, and Alice 1. Walter P. Crow homesteaded a quarter in Grand County, Colorado in 1910. In 1910 Grand County, Walter is 45, born in Nebraska, Mary 46 Illinois, Helen 21 Kansas, Alice 11 Colorado, Herschel A. 8, Colorado, George 6, Colorrado, and Eden 2 Colorado.

Walter Peary Crow, mother's name Ware died August 29, 1947 in Los Angeles, buried in Glendale # 103253072)

J.W. Felton is on the list of jurors for Nemaha COunty November District County in 1899.

In 1900 Nemaha County, Nebraska, John Felton born May 1864 married 13 years to Anne C. October 1854, both Missouri, are farming.

January 1902 "John W. Felton, of the firm of Hector & Felton, proprietors of the German-American mill of South Auburn, gave us a social call Monday"

June 1902 "John I. Dressier has sold his residence property in Auburn to John W. Felton"

August 1902 "John Felton and wife of Auburn sledded through the mud to town Mou-day."

In 1910 Yuma, on Railroad Street, Anna C. Felton is 56, married 23 years, one child not living, a visitor with George Shopp 75 and the Spofford Geer couple.

February 3, 1911 "Tuesday the application for divorce of Mrs. Anna Felton from her husband, John W. Felton, was heard, and the decree granted."
The state records have this as John H. Felton.

Anna proved up a quarter in 28, 3N 48W in 1911, witnesses Charles C. Chrismer, Jennie Chrismer, Spofford B. Geer and Nellie E. Geer, all of Yuma , Colorado ..

In 1930 Yuma, Anna C. is living alone at 615 South Buffalo Street, widowed, 76.

In 1932 Mrs. Anna Felton was paid $10 for janitorial work by the Yuma County commissioners.
1939 "Mrs. Sada Kite, who had been visiting with her sisters, Mrs. J.W. Ritchey and Mrs. Anna Felton, left for Howe, Nebraska."

May 23, 1940
Jno. W. Felton married Fannie J. Frey September 2, 1913, recorded in Arapahoe County.

In 1913 Denver, John W. Felton is a barber, at 3965 Tennyson.
