John A. Belcher and Emma F. Fogg Belcher

In 1880 La Salle County, Illinois Zimri Fogg is 54, Elizabeth H. 52.  They have Addie. J. 20, Emma F. 18, Lillie A. 15, and Charles G.29.

Elizabeth Tuck was born November 2, 1828, and married Zimri July 1848.

 Charles P., b. April 29. 1849; d. June- 3, 1849.

John proved up his homestead in 3N 47W, section 32, in 1892, meaning he probably settled in 1885.  Thenin 1895 he did a "tre claim"

Zimri Fogg had a cash claim of a quarter in 2N 47W in 1890, and next to him in section 34 Emma F. Fogg claimed a quarter in 1891.

The Pioneer in 1890 said "Zimri Fogg brought in some samples of wheat he raised this year, and also some of Mr. Gardner's wheat.  The different varities (sic) are as good as we have ever seen.  Mr. Fogg has been plowing during the past week, preparing the ground for wheat."

Emma F. Fogg got a quarter in 3N 46W, section 18 in 1897, and her father Zimri in section 8., also 1897.

Emma F. Fogg and J.A. Belcher were married September 15, 1897.

They're probably the John  April 1859 - Michigan and Emma October 1862 Minnesota, married three years, farming in the Gipson Weld County census.  They have a baby son born September 1899.

"Belcher - at ranch residence, two miles southwest of Greley, Tuesday, Sept 19, 1899, to Mr. and Mrs. John Belcher, asson."

November 15, 1900 Gipson - "Gus Weber and John Belcher finished pitting their cabbage the first of the week."

Gipson, December 31, 1900 "Mrs. John Belcher is visiting relatives in Boulder."

In 1910 Weld County John is a hardware merchant, and they have Geraldine, 7 - they had three children, only one living.

In 1920 Ault, Weld County John is a "stationary engineer" - and Geraldine is 17.
In 1930 Ault it's just John and Emma.

In 1900 Zimri and Elizabeth are in Boulder, with Charles 50 and Addie 39.  Zimri and Charles are teamsters, Addie a seamstress.

Zimri Seth Fogg is buried in Greeley - 1825-December 20, 1913. and Elizabeth TUCK Fogg 1829 - October 14, 1910


and Charles J. Fogg - 1857 July 5, 1911, adn Lillie Abbie FOGG Woland - 1865 - Nov 23, 1942.
