In 1910 Yuma, William H. Jewell is farming, 31, born in Nebraska, married four years to Dora M. 28 born in Missouri. Boyd, 3 was born in Nebraska.
They're on the same page as Jennie Woodward (my great-grandmother, who was living on West Hoag near the fairgrounds.)

In 1910 Jennings, Louisiana, John J. McClung is 54, widowed, born in
Pennsylvania, a janitor at a lodge. Eddie is 21 born in Iowa. Daughter Vivla M. Miles 23 born in Kansas and her husband James R. Miels 26, a plumber are with him.
September 25, 1961 "James Richard Miles, 77, of 1112 6th St., died early today.
The body is at the Hixson funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Simpson Methodist church,
with the Rev. Cleburne Quaid officiating. Mr. Miles was born in Prudhomme, but had lived in Lake Charles
for the past 50 years. He was a plumber and electrical contractor. He was the secretary-treasurer of the Lake Charles
Master Plumbing Ass'n. Contractors; a member of the Masonic lodge No. 165; Chapter 16 of the Order of the Eastern Star;
and a member of the Woodmen of the World. He is survived by his wife; a son, James Edward Miles of Houma;
a brother, W. F. Miles of Hackberry; three sisters, Mrs. J. H. Huff of Crowley, Mrs. R. N. King of Crowley,
and Mrs. Clarence Harmon of Church Point; and three grandchildren."
James E. Miles Jr., 57, a native and resident of Houma, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008.
A memorial service will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. today at Southdown Plantation
Home in Houma.
He is survived by one son, James E. Miles III of Houma; one daughter, Kristin
Miles Pregeant and husband, Scott, of Houma; one sister, Phyllis Rumbelow of
Washington state; four grandchildren, Alisa Miles, Brandon Ward, Evan and Julia
Pregeant; his former spouse, Joy Pitre; and his aunt and uncle, Al Minciel and
Margaret Smith of New York.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. Miles Sr. and Stefania Minciel
He was a graduate of Nicholls State University and owner of NRG Consultants.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
September 1913 "John McClung, of Louisiana, is visiting with his sons, Edward
and Lewis McClung, south of town. Mr. McClung is quite a noted raiser of pure
bred chickens, and has carried off many prizes for fine poultry in his state."
October 10, 1913 "J. J. McClung, who for the past two months or more has been a guest at the farm home of his sons,
Edwin and Louis McClung, south of Yuma, departed Tuesday night for his home at Jennings, Louisiana."
The West Yuma County history says John Joseph McClung died in Louisiana in 1914.

September 14, 1916 "J. E. McClung and Harriett E. Crosby, both of Yuma, were granted license to wed last Monday."

In 1905 Ottawa County, Kansas, Sibyl McClung is 38, married but no spouse, with parents E. Pixley 65 and Mary Pixley 57. J. R. McClung is 13.
In 1910 Yuma County, Sibyl, 43, born in Illinois, is widowed, with James E. 21 and Jerome E. 18, both born in Kansas.

Sybil was the mother of Edward McClung of Eckley, who married Mae S. Stanton of Globeville Michigan July 12, 1920.

January 16, 1955 "Funeral services for James Edward McClung, 66,
brother of Mrs. J. R. Miles of 1112 Sixth street in Lake Charles,
will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at the Congregational church in Kinder.
Burial will be in the cemetery north of Kinder.
Mr. McClung died Saturday morning at the Kinder clinic after a
long illness. He lived in Kinder for about a year, moving there
from Yuma, Colo. Survivors in addition to his sister here include
his wife. Mrs. Alice Sconce McClung of Fenton; his mother,
Mrs. Sylvia McClung of Yuma, Colo., and a number of nieces and
Ed is buried in Kinder 1889-1955 # 35430481.

She was also the mother of Mrs. J.R. Miles. In July 1920 J.R. came in from Lake Charles Louisiana to visit with his wife.
Lewis N. McClung married Eva C. Weier on September 16, 1915, recorded in Washington County."

In 1922 "Mrs. Sybil McClung went down to Eckley Sunday afternoon to visit her son Ed. McClung and family for a few days."

1924 "Mrs. Gertie Ridenour, who had been visiting with Mrs. Sybil McClung for some time, left for Humboldt, Missouri."

In 1920 Osage County, Oklahoma, Jefferson J. Peters is 54, born in Kentucky, with Minerva 42 Illinois.
Howard 16 is a stepson born in Kansas. Letha 13, Nina 11, and Edwin 8 were born in Oklahoma.
June 21, 1923 "Mrs. J. W. Peters, a sister of Mrs. Sybil McClung, came in from Pawhuska, Oklahoma recently and expects to make her home at Eckley."

In 1930 Yuma, Minerva Peters is married but no spouse, a nurse, 50, born in Illinois. Son Edwin is 19, born in Oklahoma. They're next door to Emma McClung and her son Louis 9. So Louis McClung is Minerva's grandi-newpew.
Daughter Nina Guinn, 22, is a photographer.

Lloyd Pittsenbarger married Nina "Givin" "Gwin" on October 6, 1930, recorded in Yuma County.
Nina Pittenburger is in Cortez, Colorado in 1940, married to Lloyd 35. Johnny, 14, was born in Oklahoma, Jimmy 5 and Joan 4 in Colorado. They were in Phillips County Colorado in 1935.
