Johnson, the genial ranchman, known to everybody in Yuma county and who lives eight miles north east of Yuma. The event took place last Sunday afternoon at the home of Sheriff Lamphere. Those present besides the family were: Mrs. Luna Herold, Mrs. G. Powell and son, Robert. Rev. Cameron pronounced the words which united the happy couple.
The bride, Miss Gretchcn Kuehne, is a recent arrival in Eastern Colorado, having spent most of her life in the east. She is a charming young lady and already has a large circle of friends.
After the ceremony, the table which had been prepared by Mrs. Lamphere was looked after and some of the good things disappeared, as is usual, when Mrs. Lamphere cooks.
We are glad, all of us, that Bill is married to such a fine little wife. We wish him all the luck we can, and extend him the congratulations of the whole county."
