February 24, 1938 "Carl Walthers of northeast of Yuma and Miss Mable Morgan of Eckley were married by County Judge I.L. Barker of Wray, February 9."

May 25, 1950 "Carl Walthers sold his farm west of Eckley to Albert Allen of Yuma."

January 21, 1954 - Carl Walthers was mayor of Eckley, and his father Paul Walthers was hospitalizzed in Wray. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Walthers and Marvin Walters of Denver and Mr. and Mrs. Walt Walthers of North Platte, Nebraska were in Eckley during the week to be near their father.

January 1971 Walt Walters was injured in a two-truck collision in Missouri, several broken ribs and body and face lacerations. and was to be transferred to his home in Los Angeles. He was a brother-in-law to Mrs. Jack Boughman.

Walter Edgar Walthers 1911-1994 is buried in Santa Ana, California # 143773393, with Ruby (Beanblossom) Walthers 1916-1986.


November 23, 1939 "Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Walthers, of Denver, came to Yuma Saturday and visited until the next night with the lady's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ford, and with other relatives. Sunday they attended a family dinner at the Elmer Robinson home at which Mr. and Mrs. Walter Walthers were other guests."

December 16, 1948 " Mrs. A. C. Ashford stayed in Denver at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ervin Walthers."

September 6, 1951 "Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Walters and two sons came from Denver and visited until Tuesday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ashford. Mrs. Walters is the former Evelyn Ford, daughter of Mrs. Ashford."

October 1973 Mrs. Erwin Walters suffered a heart attack in Denver.
