VOLUNTEERS ARE BADLY NEEDED! CAN YOU HELP?

This is your page and we need to volunteers in many areas. Here are some ideas of how you can help:

Do you have any local history books or other old documents that pertain to Delta County that you could do an occasional lookup in? How about an old yearbook?

Would you be able to transcribe any old records for Delta County, such as a cemetery, or yearbook? If so we will get them posted here, giving you full credit!

Would you be willing to index an old history book or census?

Do you live in or near the county and can check records, cemeteries or other on site resources?

Volunteers can work at their own pace and limit the resources they donate. They can always change their mind too. To volunteer, please contact the Delta County Coordinator.

	Lookups at the Delta Library
	In addition to posting obits on the GenConnect Boards, Sandy has kindly volunteered to do the following: Get tombstone pictures in Bethlehem, Cedar and Somerset Cemeteries. Will do look ups for people needing obits from the Delta County area. I will be glad to go to the Paonia Library and look for information. Hotchkiss info is not out of the question and can go to the Hotchkiss cemetery also. She has a scanner and can email pics.
	He can do lookups in: Surface Creek Country "By A Native Daughter" by Hazel Baker Austin 1977 - 2nd Edition It has quite a lot of history in it's short 58 pages with pictures and even an old map on the back.

	I will do field genealogical research in Delta Co., Montrose Co., and Mesa Co., Colorado. I also do research for all states on microfilm and via-mail searches. I have been doing my own research for over 30 yrs. I charge $8.00 hr. plus costs. Thank You.
	For a reasonable fee she can research any cemetery in Delta County. She also takes still photos of gravestones.
