"G. C. Huston, one of the most prominent and wealthy stockmen in Morgan county, died suddenly Monday at his home in Snyder. He was 51 years of age and had lived at Snyder for the past 10 years. He was a large stockholder in the First State Bank of Hillrose. and had large land and stock interests on the north side of the river. He leaves a wife, three sons and n daughter to mourn his loss. The remains were taken to Sterling for interment."

"George Huston, aged 26 years, a prominent young business man of Hillrose, died at the Eben-Ezer hospital in Brush Thursday morning. Mr. Huston was raised on a ranch east of Snyder and attended the local schools, later taking a course in the Denver schools. After the death of his father he became interested in the First State Bank of Hillrose as cashier. He sold out his interests two years ago and entered the garage business at that place. Mr. Huston has hosts of friends in this vicinity who have known and respected him since boyhood. He leaves a wife and two children; a mother, two brothers and one sister who reside at Port Morgan."

"Clark Elliot Huston, of Ocean Beach, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 29th, 2014 in San Diego, California at the age of 90. Clark was born on July 13, 1924 to loving parents Burtis Clark Huston and Florence Daisy Smith. Along with siblings Eula Gill and Walter Edgar, Clark attended Ocean Beach Elementary, and later graduated from Point Loma High School. He went on to complete certification as an airline mechanic with Pan American. On August 2, 1946 he married Theda Catherine White, and they spent the next 66 years together. During his career with Teledyne Ryan he served as co-pilot and maintenance supervisor. He was involved in the moon landing hardware as well as the first remote drones. His work brought him numerous awards and recognition for aviation technical service and safety. In his free time, Clark enjoyed several outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, boating, flying, camping, hiking, body surfing and diving. In addition to his hobbies, Clark also served as Master Mason at the local Masonic lodge, and was also a volunteer Sherriff for search and rescue. Clark Huston is survived by his children Cheryl Hall (Pete) and Mark Huston (Cathy), grandchildren Josh and Robert, great-grandchildren Kyle and Luke, siblings Eula Gill and Walter Edgar, pets OB and Cassie, and a large extended family. He is preceded in death by beloved wife Theda Catherine Huston. A funeral service to celebrate Clark's life will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 10:00 am at Beardsley Mitchell Funeral Home, 1818 Sunset Cliffs Blvd., San Diego, California 92107, with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at Glenn Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, California."
