"Mrs. Pearl Rush Coltrane, 80, of Route 4, died in the High Point Memorial Hospital Sunday at 3 p.m. following two weeks hospitalization. She was born in Randolph County Feb. 23, 1894, a daughter of George W. and Louisa Hill Rush.
She was married to Allen Lloyd Coltrane. She was of the Quaker faith. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are a son, Chester G. Coltrane of Newport News, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Draughn of 308 Boulevard and Mrs. Ruth Lloyd Jones of 901 Ferndale Blvd; two brothers, Bernie and Jeff Rush, both of Route 4; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held in Harold C. Davis Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Dallas Rush. Burial will be in Marlboro Friends Cemetery in Randolpy County. The family will be at the home of a daughter at 901 Ferndale Blvd. and at the funeral home Tuesday night 7 until 9."
